Holidazed

It’s already begun. That fun flurry of activity that makes us burn the candle at both ends, rush out for candles just in time for a guests’ arrival, and burn out right when the fire in the hearth finally gets lit and we want to relax and enjoy it. ZZZzzzzz. Can’t help it. Sometimes the stress of the season means we miss all the fun.

I ran around this weekend like a crazy – to make a long story short, my son was a in a four-performance run of Beauty and the Beast, and my daughters both had to be picked up from their schools!  Fawoosh!   And there was a big game and several ceremonies to participate in at my daughter’s HS in Maryland, 3-1/2 hours away from home.  It was one of those weekends where you really don’t gt enough sleep.  And I woke this morning with a sore throat.  And now I have a full house since kids are home from school for Thanksgiving.

This past weekend makes me look at 9to5ers with new awe. How could anyone have gotten up and gone to work after the kind of weekend we just had? Of course I have real work to achieve too. Sometimes it hard to be productive when kids are underfoot and you’re a WAH mom!

It helps to LOVE what you do.  I’m about to release a new Motherhood to Otherhood Mini-Course, by email. I’m loving this M2O Mini-Course, and hope you will too. For each of the 9 lessons in my program, I’ve created a power point, a worksheet and an inspirational email, with links to more materials. This course will be automatically emailed to you beginning in early January for three weeks. This is an excellent way to get your resolutions started. If you strive for Otherhood… here is the best way to get started!  I’ll give you more details next week.

So I’m going to record the audio on the power point presentations per lesson.  I love audio sessions.  They bring out the goofball in me, the snide mom, the GR8Mom in me.  So this is going to be fun work.  still… I’m a little holidazed and droopy today.  I’m glad I have more than a conference room and a water cooler to refresh my spirit between sessions.  (Working at home rocks!)
